China launches first homemade aircraft carrier


China on Wednesday launched its first homemade aircraft carrier to join the others had bought secondhand from Ukraine, comes amid growing tensions over North Korea and concerns over Beijing’s strict policy in the South China Sea.

Official media said that is not expected to enter the aircraft carrier, which was designed in China and built in the port of Dalian in the Northeast, service before 2020.
